Founded by legacy aesthetician Rachel Liverman, Glowbar has rapidly expanded from a premier 20-location facial studio into retail, partnering with Doheny Atelier to develop a cohesive, custom packaging system for its growing line of skincare products.
The Expert Cleanser represents Glowbar's inaugural move into retail, enabling clients to replicate professional facial results at home. Featuring a clinical aesthetic designed to enhance any vanity, the packaging directly reflects the expert-approved, premium formula it contains. To incorporate elements of "surprise and delight," Kate applied her characteristic use of negative space on the back of the packaging, creating a functional indicator for when a restock is needed. This intentional detail functions as both an innovative design solution and a distinct brand touchpoint.
Designed as a compact companion to the original Expert Cleanser, this "mini-me" iteration seamlessly adapts the core packaging system Kate established into a smaller, travel-ready format.
The design architecture for Glowbar's hypochlorous acid mist, Simple Solution, seamlessly adapts the established visual language of the hero Expert Cleanser to ensure brand consistency. A signature sailor window on the back of the bottle offers a functional touch of surprise and delight, providing customers with a clear view of the remaining product.
