Kylie Jenner's makeup brand, Kylie Cosmetics, collaborated with Doheny Atelier founder Kate Doheny to create a bold, pink-and-blue aesthetic collection inspired by Jenner's friendship with Stassie Karanikolaou.
The newly introduced Kylie x Stassie logo honors the bold block aesthetic of the core Kylie Cosmetics branding, while incorporating a fresh typeface. This new font provides a soft yet striking accent that, at a considerable scale, perfectly complements the blue and pink best-friend photoshoot theme.
The colors are fresh and highly aesthetic to match the influencers they represent, even though the shape of the Lip Kit products and High Gloss align with the core collection. The strong colors show up beautifully on the liners and the liquid lipstick, and adhering matte pink and blue to the shiny High Gloss vials creates an elegant juxtaposition. All of these elements pair perfectly with a translucent block logo featuring a glossy finish over the colorful best-friend photoshoot, soft touch, featured on the secondary packaging, complete with the signature interior printing—this time showcasing a blue-and-pink logo step-and-repeat pattern.
As one of the first eyeshadow releases following the brand's relaunch, the Stassie x Kylie Eyeshadow Palette features expressive colors that are mirrored directly on its packaging. It brings a fresh perspective to the classic Kylie image-wrapped board, a brand staple. The palette is enclosed in a matching secondary pack: matte finish—built with the besties and the translucent, glossy logo. Designed with a fun twist to match the two best friends, the Kyliner liquid eyeliner features two variations: one pairs a blue component with a pink product, and the other pairs a pink component with a blue product. Merging minimal and maximal styles, these matte components deliver a playful, girly aesthetic. The secondary cartons introduce a fresh texture with a shiny foil finish, finished with an unexpected, vibrant blue-and-pink print on the inside.
The Kylighter, or the pressed highlighter, is the only product in the collection made for the face. Similar to the core collection Kylighter, a step-and-repeat pattern is baked into the product, this time featuring the bestie's names. The component itself is a step away from the Kylie Cosmetics brand pink, opting for blue instead, with brand pink lettering on top. The secondary here matches the collection's cuteness—in size as well as style—and adheres to the translucent logo aesthetic.
